THE ASK Sharing roots strongly planted in youth subcultures and a foundation that traces back to San Francisco, storied music bible Rolling Stone celebrates its 50th anniversary by teaming up with heritage label Levi’s, who’s also honoring five decades of its iconic 505 jean and Type III trucker jacket, for year-long 2017 partnership.
THE SOLVE Just as musicians have chosen to tell their stories to Rolling Stone for 50 years, many of them also chose Levi’s as their first pick for authentic style on and off the stage. To honor this, we kicked off the year-long Rolling Stone x Levi’s partnership byreleasing a limited edition capsule collection. Consisting of a patched-up trucker jacket, four pins and two T-shirts, the line was recently launched at the Levi’s SXSW showcase. The Levi's Outpost at SXSW was the spot where badge holders could check out a mini-exhibit of Levi's ties to music over the last 50 years, learn from expert panelists, and of course shop the limited edition capsule collection. This year-long partnership will continue throughout the 2017 with some modern mergesdges of these two brands. Check back for more information following these to-be-released launches.
